Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the temp. controllability of blast furnace gases and to prevent the burn of a dry type dust remover by incorporating the time delay up in to the liquid spray position to the differential signal obtained by differentiating the differential signal between the outlet temp. at the blast furnace top and the temp. just before the dry type dust remover and adding this signal to the signal of a feedback control system.
CONSTITUTION: When the temp. of blast furnace gases rises sharply, the difference between the outlet temp. at the top of a blast furnace 1 and the outlet temp. of a coarse grain remover 2 is detected. The time delay from the temp. detection position at the outlet of the blast furnace top to the water spray position of the remover 2 is incorporated into said signal by which the water spray is preliminarily controlled. Since differential factors fairly and sharply influence upon the temp. rise of the top gas, such as those in the stage of blow-through of the blast furnace, which changes temp. with a large gradient, said signal is added to feedback control system, whereby the quick control is effected for the such sharp temp. rise as well. Hence, the burn of the remover 3 which is weak at high temp. is prevented surely.
