Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to effect a stabilized operation by a method wherein two furnaces are communicated and operated like as one series operation and a hunting phenomenon is eliminated.
CONSTITUTION: A waste gas duct 3a for a first incinerating furnace 1a and a waste gas duct 3b for a second incinerating furnace 1b are met at a point C and connected to a duct 8 joined into one series, while a gas cooling chamber 9, a dust remover 10 and an inducing fan 11 are provided in the waste gas duct 8 connected to a funnel 12. A communicating duct 13, connecting the first incinerating furnace 1a and the second incinerating furnace 1b, is provided between upper free ports in furnaces of the first and second incinerating furnaces 1a, 1b, while one set of control damper 6 is provided in the duct 8 after the gas cooling chamber 9 and the dust remover 10 and before the inducing fan 11. The control damper 6 is controlled and varied in its opening degree by a signal from a pressure detector 7 detecting pressures in the first and the second incinerating furnaces 1a, 1b.
