Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a feed and exhaust pipe from freezing in the cold season, by controlling at least either one of a combustion mechanism or a blower, and by changing the capability of combustion so as to raise the temperature of exhaust gas in the feed and exhaust pipe of a combuster, when the outdoor temperature decreases below the specified degree.
CONSTITUTION: The temperature senser 25, which is established to put out a signal when the temperature goes down below the specified degrees, detects the temperature and puts out the detection signal, when the outdoor temperature goes down to such a condition that freezing occurs in a feed and exhaust pipe 16 during air-heating by normal combustion. Then, a combustion controller 26 receives the detected signal and puts out the signal to increase the amount of combustion to an oil fuel feeder 28 and a fan 23 for supplying air. When the signals are received, the oil fuel feeder 28 and the fan 23 for supplying the air are, for instance, brought into operations corresponding to the maximum amount of combustion, and the amount of combustion in the combustion chamber 11 is increased. That is, the capability of combustion is changed to be increased, and the temperature of exhaust gas discharged from the feed and exhaust pipe 16 is raised. As a result, the temperature at the mouth of exhaust 16a of the feed and exhaust pipe 16 is raised.
