Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a generation of NOx in response to a variation of a continuous load by a method wherein a temperature in a fluidized bed of the fluidized bed boiler is kept in a scope ranging from a stable minimum combustion temperature to a maximum temperature in preventing a generation of NOx.
CONSTITUTION: The boiler is constituted of a water-cooled wall pipe 5, a combustion chamber constituted by the fluidized bed chamber I, II, and a heat recovery unit 21 made by a vaporized water pipe and a gas flow partition plate. The temperature in the fluidized bed is detected by a fluidized bed thermometer 22 or a thermo-transmitter 19 so as not to cause a temperature in the fluidized bed to exceed NOx control temperature of 900°C, a cooling air flow adjuster valve 18 is adjusted by the detected temperature signal. Volume of cooling air corresponding to the detected temperature is fed into the cooling air box 16, introduced into the injection bed from a plurality of cooling air injection holes 17, thereby the temperature in the fluidized bed is decreased. Energization of the blower 15 is performed when either a signal from the thermometer 22 in the fluidized bed or a temperature of combustion gas outlet is detected by the temperature switch 20 and further when the temperature exceeds a specified temperature.
