Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to increase gradually the flow of fluid in safety and also to perform a process of high quality by equipping a flow controller with a method of setting the flow of fluid to zero.
CONSTITUTION: Afer a sample is taken in processing tank 10 and all preparations are made, valve 2 is opened, zero-flow setting circuit 11 is reset, and flow setter 7 is made effective. When it is commanded that the flow be zero, the set value of zero-flow setting circuit 11 is inputted to comparator circuit 6, regardless of the set value of flow setter 7, as if it were zero. Controlvalve 5, therefore, operates to make the flow zero and after zero-flow setting circuit 11 reset, flow controller 3 operates so that the flow of fluid will be the set value of flow setter 7. The fluid increases in quantity gradually by resetting zero-flow setting circuit 11 in concurrence with or lagging behind the opening operation of valve 2.
