Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep automatically the top pressure of blast furnace constant by a method in which the deviation between the top pressure of blast furnace and a set pressure is detected and by its detection signal, a pressure control valve provided on the rear flow side of a dust collector is controlled.
CONSTITUTION: In the control of the top pressure of the blast furnace 3, the real pressure of the blast furnace is detected by a top pressure detector 12, and its signal 13 is put in a regulator 14 to compare it with a set pressure value. Then, a deviation signal 15 is sent forth to a preliminary pressure regulator 16 where an actual preliminary pressure signal 18 from a preliminary pressure detector 17 is compared with the said deviation signal 15 and its deviation signal 19 is put in the pressure control valve 10 provided on the rear flow side of dust collectors 7AW7E. Thus, the said valve 10 is controlled and the top pressure of the blast furnace 3 can be controlled.
