The IOC transmits the completion mark via an interface ITF-R and an end detection circuit EMD receives the mark for storage. Next, the IOC transmits reading start signal RSS to the OMR via the ITF-R. The OMR starts the reading operation, stores the result in a sequential register circuit RG, and the EMD checks the presence/absence of the end mark. When the end mark is detected, a reading operation stop signal RST is transmitted to a control circuit CTL and the reading end signal END is transmitted to an interface ITF-T. The ITF-T transmits the reading data of the register circuit RG to the IOC in a short time to shorten the reading time.
