CONSTITUTION:A magnetic sensor 10 is installed where it detects the mark 9 of an impeller 5 when the impeller 5 is arranged at an adequate cartridge arrival position. This magnetic sensor 10 is coupled with the control circuit 11 of a picker 1 to control the picker 1 so that only when the mechanism detects the impeller 5 being arranged at the prescribed cartridge arrival position, a cartridge 2 is thrown in the cartridge entrance part 3 of a data recording mechanism. Therefore, when the impeller 5 is not arranged where the cartridge 2 is receivable, the cartridge 2 is not carried into the impeller 5.
