Abstract

PURPOSE: To permit accurate and easy control of movement and stoppage of conveyer endless belt by incorporating magnetic scale along the lenght of the endless belt.
CONSTITUTION: Magnetic fields produced by magnetic divisions 70, 71, 72, 73...7n on a magnetic scale 6 incorporated in an endless belt 1 along the length thereof are detected respectively by two mangetic heads 8, 9 provided close to said magnetic scale 6. Signals from the magnetic heads 8, 9 detecting said magnetic fields when the magnetic divisions 70, 71, 72, 73...7n on the magnetic scale 6 pass by the magnetic heads 8, 9 are processed by a digital processing circuit 10 to operate an endless belt driving motor 13 through a preset circuit 12 for controlling accurately a required transfer distance or position of the endless belt.
