Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the service, by printing data, which indicates impossibility of issuance of a new bankbook and existence of unprinted transaction data, on a recording medium other than the bankbook in case when unprinted transaction data is left after printing on the last line of the last page of the bankbook and the new bankbook is not stored. CONSTITUTION:A main control circuit 19 is provided with a new bankbook detecting sensor 15 which detects whether a new bankbook exists in a stacker or not. If the detection signal of ''absence'' is detected from the sensor 15 when unprinted transaction data is left after printing on the last line of the last page of the bankbook, data indicating impossibility of issuance of a new bankbook and existence of unprinted transaction data are printed on a transaction recording medium 13 other than the bankbook by a printing means 22. After that, the circuit 19 transmits a reverse operation command singal to the first operating means 20 and the second operating means 21 to eject the medium 13 and the bankbook through a feeding mechanism to the insertion entrance and ejection exit. Thus, since it is unnecessary to stop the operation even if the new bankbook is not stored, the customer service is improved and completely unattended operation is possible.
