Abstract
PURPOSE: To discriminate easily a properly printed character from an error-detected character by detecting an error by an error detection circuit and by displaying its character line and character position in distinction from proper print.
CONSTITUTION: Print information inputted to receiver circuit 1 is sent to decoder 2, where error detection is performed; when no abnormality is detected, it is stored in memory 3, read out in sequence and sent to error detection circuit 5, where an error check is made, when no error is found, printing head 8 will print it. On detecting an unidentified code, etc., circuit 5 sends out error detection signal 12 to actuate form-feed stopping circuit 4 and when circuit 4 is not actuated, head 8 makes print for one line and then, form-feed mechanism 7 is actuated to change a line. When circuit 4 is being actuated, print is made on the same line.
