Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance close adhesiveness between a steel plate and a paint coating and to prevent deterioration of the close adhesiveness with the elapse of time, prior to painting the steel plate, by coating an org. acid on a surface of the steel plate preliminarily roughened to a predetermined degree in a predetermined amount of a thickness.
CONSTITUTION: A surface of a stainless steel plate is preliminarily roughened to 2W10μmRmax by dull skin pass, shot blast and buff polishing. Subsequently, on the obtained roughened surface, an aqueous solution of tannic acid and/or polyacrylic acid is coated by spraying in a thickness corresponding to a coating amount of 1×10-4W1×10-1g/m2. Next, a paint is coated on the steel plate to form a paint coating having good close adhesiveness and being free from deterioration of the close adhesiveness with the elapse of time.
