Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve a monolithical unity if a support bulb and its spherical ground, by a method wherein a high-pressure gaseous substance is fed to a hollow part of an existing pile before an initial curing of a cement milk mixture starts, andt the hollow part is kept in a high-pressure state for a given period of time.
CONSTITUTION: Cement milk is poured to form a support bulb 3 for sinking an existing pile 1 down to a given depth from a ground surface 2 by interior excavating process, and after the cement milk is agitated and mixed, a cleansing water 6 is filled up to a given water level. An auger screw is pulled out of the existing pile 1 as it is washed with the cleansing water 6. A lid 7 is firmly adhered to an upper end plate 1a of the existing pile 1, and a conduit 8, which is inserted through the lid 7, connects together the space in the hollow part of the existing pile 1 and a compressor 9 to keep the inside of the hollow part in a high-pressure state for a given period of time.
