Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a concrete structure of good quality, by a method wherein, in a method of constructing a bridge pipe or other concrete structure in the sea, water in a space in a caison erected in the water is discharged, and cement mortar is poured in such a state as causes a pressure in said space to be kept higher than a water pressure.
CONSTITUTION: A caison 1, which has holes 1a at a lower surrounding wall, is erected in the water, and a given amount of coarse aggregate is charged into said caison 1. Additionally, cement mortar pouring pipes 3 with a valve 3a combined with a water discharge pipe and an air feed pipe 5 with a valve 5a are located, and a mortar flow-out-proof material 6 is placed around an outer circumference of the caison 1. Cement mortar 4 is then placed at a position which is equivalent to a water level, and a space is sealed from the air. Compressed air is then fed into through the pipe 5 for draining water in the space A through the pipes 3, and cement milk is poured into the space A, where an air pressure is kept higher than a water pressure, to construct the desired structure.
