Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the corrosion-protecting function and strength of an underwater structure including a steel-pipe pile by a method wherein the water inside the frame is discharged before the injection of cement mortar into the outside part of the underwater structure and then the cement mortar is injected in the inside of the frame which is kept almost watertight, thereby the necessary density of the mortar being maintained.
CONSTITUTION: Outside a structure 1 such as a steel-pipe pile a form 2 made of glass-fiber mixed reinforced cement is provided concentrically with the pile, while a saucer 3 is provided in continuation to the bottom part of the form. Next, an injection hose 4 and a discharge pipe 5 are inserted into the form 2 in such a way that the lower ends thereof are positioned near the saucer 3, and after the upper opening of the form 2 being blocked up by a hood 6, a pressure-air hose 7 is inserted through the hood 7. Then, compressed air being sent into the inside of the form 2 through the hose 7, the water inside the form is discharged outside through the pipe 5. And, the form 2 being kept watertight by sending the air continuously after the water being discharged, cement mortar 8' is injected consecutively from the lower part to the upper through the hose 4 and hardened, thus a cement mortar layer 8 being formed outside the structure 1.
