Abstract

PURPOSE: To readily cut steel pipes and joints together with mortar by putting a nozzle into the steel pipe and injecting a flame jet at the time of cutting the steel pipe sheet piles comprising connecting the steel pipe sheet piles by means of joints and setting the inside and outside of the joints by mortar.

CONSTITUTION: Steel pipes 1 are connected by joints 2 to install the pipes in wall form in soil or water. Cement mortar and water glass ground hardening chemical solution 3 are packed to the inside and outside of the joints and are solidified to cut water and form the steel pipe sheet piles. At the time of cutting these steel pipe sheet piles, the nozzle 4 of a flame jet injector is inserted into the steel pipes 1 and a flame jet is injected therefrom to cut the steel pipe bodies 1, joints 2 and mortar and the like 3 of their inside and outside. Since the steel pipe sheet piles are packed and solidified with the mortar and the like on the inside and outside of their joints to cut water, the disturbance of the flame by water does not occur and the steel pipe bodies 1 and joints 2 may be cut together with the mortar and the like 3.
