Abstract
PURPOSE: To elongate the hardening time of grout and to rapidly promote the hydration reaction of the grout at a desired time by using hydraulic slag cement or viscous grout as a soil wall stabilizing liquid.
CONSTITUTION: Excavation is conducted while filling an excavated groove for forming an underground wall with latent-hydraulic or slow-hydraulic powdery blast furnace slag, cement, or viscous grout containing the mixture thereof. After excavation, with prefabricated materials installed upright and set or not set, a small amount of a hardening accelerator (e.g. calcium chloride, calcium aluminate) is charged into the grout. The grout rapidly hardens under the effect of the hardening accelerator, and the underground wall is completed in predetermined hours or days.
