Abstract

The factory-produced ready-mixed masonry mortar or plastomortar has a workability time of two to fourteen days. The masonry mortar or plastomortar is provided with substances for preventing freezing down to temperatures of -7 DEG C, with setting retarders and water retention means for retaining the required amount of water for hydraulic setting. Despite the long workability time, after working the mortar sets perfectly within a relatively short time, possesses an adequate stability in the joint and attains the required strength values.
