Abstract
PURPOSE: A halophile protease, obtained by cultivation of a pseudomonas, is used to hydrolyze protein in the presence of inorganic salts rapidly.
CONSTITUTION: When protein is hydrolyzed in the presence of 10W25wt% inorganic salts, a halophile protease, which is collected from the culture mixture of Pseudomonas A-14 strain (FERM-5745) and purified by means of column chromatography, is added by less than 0.2wt%, as a pure enzyme.
