PURPOSE:To prevent a pinion gear and bearing from rusting, by isolating the bearing of an output shaft from the inside of a pinion housing with a waterproof plate and providing said waterproof plate and water drain port. CONSTITUTION:A pinion housing 49, housed with a pinion gear 33, is successively provided to one side of a transmission housing H neighboring to a bearing 24 of an output shaft 23. Further an inlet of the pinion housing 49 is spread to the outside, and a waterproof plate 51 is neibhbored to the bearing 24, then a tapered part 52, decreased with its diameter toward the pinion gear 33, is provided in the periphery of the output shaft 23. Then an annular groove 53 continued to the tapered part 52 and a water drain hole 50 connected to an annular chamber 49b are provided. In this way, water drip is prevented from intruding into the bearing 24 and promptly discharged to the outside from the drain hole 50, then the pinion gear 33 and the bearing 24 can be effectively prevented from rusting.
