Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the invasion of dusts and optimize the level of oil, by providing a bowl-shaped partition plate in the center of a transmission casing and providing a bearing cylinder in the central part of the partition plate and fitting a reverse clutch operating piston in the partition plate and inserting a hollow transmission shaft into the bearing cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: The partition plate 1d is formed in the central part 1b of the transmission casing 1. A planet gear chamber 35 is defined by the partition plate and another part 1c of the casing 1. A planet gear is independently contained in the chamber 35. The partition plate is convexly curved toward a speed reduction gear A. The bearing cylinder 36 is formed integrally with the partition plate. A main transmission shaft 4 is inserted into the bearing cylinder 36. An annular cylinder chamber 37 is provided for the piston 20 for operating a reverse clutch 19. A transmission shaft 34 and an output shaft 11 are coupled to each other in the bearing cylinder 36. Since the planet gear A is independently contained, the invasion of dusts etc. is prevented and lubricating oil can be filled in the planet gear chamber 35 independently of the other chambers. Therefore, the level of the oil in the chamber 35 can be optimized.
