CONSTITUTION:A rotor shaft 6 of a starter motor M is supported to a side wall of a transmission housing H, further an output shaft 23 is supported between both side walls, and a one-way speed reduction transmission device T, from the rotor shaft 6 to the output shaft 23, is arranged in the housing H. This transmission device T is constituted by a one-way clutch C in the periphery of the output shaft 23, annular gear 27 of large diameter, spread to the periphery of an outer clutch 30, and a gear 26 of small diameter meshed to the gear 27 of the rotor shaft 6, and a protrusively provided bearing cylinder 33 to the housing H is protruded to the inside of the gear 27, then a bearing 25 for the output shaft 23 is housed in said bearing cylinder 33.
