Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable automatic speed change without use of an auxiliary motor pump by incorporating a planetary gear train, one-way clutch, mechanical clutch, hydraulic clutch, and an oil pump driven by an output shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A planetary gear train 6, one-way clutch 7, mechanical clutch 8, hydraulic clutch 9, and an oil pump 10 driven by an output shaft 5 are incorporated in the casing 4 of a transmission 3 having an input shaft 2 integral with a motor 1 for driving a vehicle. The shafts 2 and 5 are connected respectively with a ring gear 13 and a carrier 14 of the planetary gear train 6. A sun gear 11 of the planetary gear train 6 is connected with the casing 4 through the parallel paths of the clutches 7 and 8, and with the output shaft 5 through the clutch 9.
