Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formulaI(R1 is H, lower alkyl, phenyl or substituted phenyl; R2 is lower alkyl).
EXAMPLE: 3'-Acetyl-4'-hydroxy-1,4'-dimethylspiro [ 2,3-dihydroindolidin-2-one- 3,1'-cyclohexane].
USE: Useful as an antiallergic agent, antithrombotic agent, etc. It has antiallergic activity, blood platelet coagulation suppressing activity, etc.
PROCESS: The compound of formulaIis prepared by reacting the pyridinium compound of formula II (R3 is lower alkyl; X is halogen) with a basic compound such as NaOH, and reacting the resultant dihydroindolidin-2-one of formula III with the vinyl ketone compound of formula IV at about room temperature W100°C.
