Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize casting conditions in the stage of supplying molten lead from a lead melting pan, pressurizing a pressurizing pot in a closed state and injection-casting a grid body, by providing a level sensor between the melting pan and a supply pipe and controlling the level of the molten lead by this. CONSTITUTION:Molten lead 3 is supplied from a lead melting pan 1 through a molten lead supply valve 4 to a lead melting auxiliary pan 5 and a pressurizing pot 9, then the level 16 of the molten lead ascends. Next, when the lead level 16 arrives at the specified level, a level sensor 17 operates, and the valve 4 cooperating with this closes thereby stopping the supply of the lead 3. Thence, in this state the inside of the pot 9 is pressurized and the lead 3 is injected into dies 13. When the lead level 16 lowers upon injection of the lead 3, a sensor 17 operates to supply the lead 3, by which the level 16 is maintained constant and the stable casting conditions are obtained.
