Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize casting conditions in the stage of supplying molten lead from a lead melting pan, pressurizing a pressurizing pot in a closed state and injection-casting a grid body, by providing a level sensor within the melting pan and controlling the level of the molten lead by this. CONSTITUTION:Molten lead 3 is supplied from a lead melting pan 1 through a molten lead supply valve 4 to a pressurizing pot 6, then the level 13 of the molten lead ascends. Next, when the lead level 13 arrives at the specified level, a level sensor 14 operates, and the valve 4 cooperating with this closes thereby stopping the supply of the lead 3. Thence, the inside of the pot 6 is pressurized and the lead 3 is injected into dies 10. When the lead level 13 lowers upon injection of the lead 3, the sensor 14 operates to open the supply valve 4 and to supply the lead 3, by which the level 13 is maintained constant and the stable casting conditions are obtained.
