Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the peak value of a rush current to a vaelue lower than the set value by interrupting a semiconductor element with the first set current value and conducting the element with the second set current value. CONSTITUTION:Even if a power source voltage is inputted, a semiconductor switching element 5 is first interrupted OFF, a DC current flows through a current limiting resistor R0, but the element 5 is immediately conducted, and a current flowed through the element 5. When the detected value reaches a set current value V1 by a current detector R1, the element 5 is interrupted by a controlling circuit CL. When the current is then reduced and the detected value is lowered to a set current value V2, the element 5 is conducted, and the current is again increased. Thereafter, this state is repeated to increase the charging voltage of the capacitor C. In this manner, the overcurrent at the starting time and instantaneously resetting time can be prevented.
