Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a motor by adding an electromagnetic rotating speed detector unilizing the magnetic flux at part of a rotor magnet, thereby eliminating the necessity of providing teeth on the outer periphery of a rotor yoke. CONSTITUTION:A teeth 1' is provided at a rotor magnet 1, and a teeth 10' is provided at a detecting coil yoke 10 of the side of a stator coil 3 faced with the teeth 1'. In this structure, part of the magnetic flux from N pole on the lower surface of the magnet 1 flows from the teeth 1' to the teeth 10' as designated by an arrow, flows from a detecting coil yoke 10 to the S pole adjacent to the lower surface of the magnet 1, and returns through the rotor yoke to the original pole. Accordingly, the induced voltage at the detecting coil 9 becomes alternating current with 18 deg. of one period in the rotating operation of a motor, and the rotating speed of the motor is detected by the frequency of the inducted voltage of the alternating current.
