Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce noise generated at a motor, by installing a fan to a rotor shaft through a bearing and providing a pair of magnets having desirable magnetic force at the rotor and fan, and a rotating dics of non-ferrous metal between both.
CONSTITUTION: A bearing 14 is provided at a rotor shaft 7. A fan 15 is installed rotatably at the shaft 7 through the bearing 14. A magnet 16 is installed to the fan 15 approximately on the horizontal plane to the shaft 7. Plural pairs of magnets 16 are arranged as a pair of N-pole and S-pole. A copper rotating disc 17 is installed at a rotor spider 9 within the magnet 16. When the rotating disc 17 moves to an arrow direction, the rotating disc traverses magnetic lines 19 of the magnet, electricity is induced on the rotating disc 17. Consequently, eddy current flows, and the current and magnet produce electromagnetic force. The fan 15 rotates with the magnet 16. This reduces noise generated at a motor.
