Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture a DC motor which has no brush, by providing a permanent magnet rotor in a stator field system and controlling the current of a stator field coil by electric signals produced by volgate generation coils located in the stator field system.
CONSTITUTION: The field coil 2 is provided in the face of the stator field system 1. The permanent magnet rotor 3 is rotatably supported with a shaft 1 in the field system 1. Magnetic wires 5a, 5b are so located that they are affected by the N-pole and S-pole of the rotor 3. The coercive force of the magnetic wires differs between their central and peripheral parts. The magnetic wires are magnetized in the axial direction of the rotor. Voltages are generated by the coil 6a, 6b depending on the change in the magnetic fields of the wires 5a, 5b. The energization of the field coil 2 is controlled by the voltages through an electric circuit 7. The position of the rotor 3 is detected by the magnetic wires 5a, 5b to control the energization of the field coil 2. The DC motor required of no brush is thus be obtained.
