Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure the starting of a commutatorless motor, by providing notches at one ends of respective magnetic pole pieces of a stator, and disposing magnetic pieces near the respective notches. CONSTITUTION:Notches 4 are provided at one ends of respective magnetic poles 11-14 of a stator 1, and magnetic pieces 5 are disposed near said notches 4. In addition, the stator 1 is provided with a magnetic detecting element 3 which detects the position of a permanent magnet rotor 2. Thereby, even if the magnetic poles of the permanent magnet rotor 2 have been sationary, facing directly to the respective magnetic pole pieces, the electromagnetic centers are displaced with each other. Therefore, the rotor can start rotation in the direction toward the notches.
