Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise the generating efficiency of a generator by arranging an armature coil having an opposite pole between the field poles of opposite poles, thereby efficiently utilizing the magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:4 poles S, N of a rotor 3 are secured to a rotational shaft 4 so that the poles become opposite in polarity. A stator 1 on which an armature coil 2 is wound so that the front and the rear poles become opposite in polarity is disposed at the left side of the shaft. A stator 1' on which an armature coil 2' is wound is disposed similarly at the right side. When the rotor 3 is rotated, electromotive forces are generated at the coils 2, 2' by electromagnetic induction, and AC powers are produced from terminals 5, 6. The conventional generator utilizes only one surface of the magnetic field perpendicular to the shaft, while this generator utilizes both front and rear surfaces in this direction. Accordingly, the power generating efficiency of the generator can be raised.
