Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce ripple by a method wherein a stator winding is located in a space inside a rotor consisting of an outer rotating member and an inner rotating member provided with a permanent magnet at one end and a magnetic substance at the other end. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical permanent magnet 10 with magnetic poles N and S arranged radius-wise acting for example as an inner rotating member is fixed on the outer circumference of a rotating shaft 9. Pole pieces 11 are provided as prescribed along the outer circumference of the permanent magnet 10. Adjacent to the outer circumference of the pole pieces 11 is a cylindrical, rotating iron core 15 that is an outer rotating member, with a gap 14 between the two. The rotating iron core 15 is supported by the rotation shaft 9 by a supporting member 16 made of non-magnetic substance. A coreless stator winding 12 is installed in the gap 14 between the pole pieces 11 and the rotating iron core 15. the flat part of a trapezoidal wave generated in the stator winding 2 is rectified according to signals transmitted by a prescribed position detecting device and a direct current is yielded.
