Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable self-starting of a step motor without an accessory part such as a shading coil by inclining a stator pole in the rotating direction of a permanent magnet rotor. CONSTITUTION:Stator poles 51-58 which are inclined in the rotor rotating direction designated by an arrow P at an equal interval are projected from the periphery of a stator 5 formed of a magnetic iron plate. In this manner, since this step motor can be self-started in one direction only with a stator 5 of one type without an accessory part such as a shading coil or the like, the structure becomes simple. Since the stator pole teeth are formed on the periphery of the stator, the circumferential distance can be increased in length, and poles can be increased.
