PURPOSE:To facilitate the starting of the engine by allowing a fuel to positively exist in a fuel pump chamber at the time of restarting the engine. CONSTITUTION:The fuel take-out port 6 of a fuel tank 5 is connected to a fuel suction port 13 of a fuel pump 12 via a conduit 7, a filter 8, a conduit pipe 9, a check valve 10 and a conduit pipe 11. Even when in a delivery valve 16 and a conduit pipe 15, the liquid fuel within these pipes is evaporated and the pressure within the pipe is raised, or even when the fuel pump 12 and the conduit pipe 11 are directly heated, the liquid fuel within the fuel pump is prevented from reversely flowing to the fuel tank 5. These liquid fuels remain within the pipes and the fuel pump, and non-existence of the liquid fuels within the pump chamber of the fuel pump 12 can be prevented.
