Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a more reliable pressure regulating function by coaxially a fuel inlet and an outlet of a fuel injector's fuel control valve and regulating a fuel flow by means of a valve member which is fixed to a diaphragm.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel from a fuel tank 28 is supplied into a combustion chamber 22 from a fuel injection valve 18 which is secured to an intake manifold 16. An excess fuel id fed back into a tank 28 via a pressure control valve 30 disposed on the way of a return pipe 34. The control valve 30 is divided by a diaphragm 309 into a fuel chamber 322 and a negative pressure chamber 315. The diaphragm 309 operates on negative pressures which are carried from a suction pipe into the negative pressure chamber 315. A fuel inlet pipe 302 and an outlet pipe 303 are coaxially formed. A movable valve part 311 which is secured to the diaphragm 309 is disposed in free contact with a valve seat 305 which is formed at the end of the inlet pipe 302. A valve member 306 which can be turned is connected to the valve seat 305 so as to surely open or close the valve part 311.
