Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the deposit in exhaust gas from adhering to throttle valves by providing a fuel injection valve and the exhaust gas injection port on the upper throttle valve of an intake passage.
CONSTITUTION: The intake and discharge pipes 8 and 11 of an engine 1 are connected using the reflux flow passages 17 and 19 which have an exhaust gas recirculating control valve 18 and part of exhaust gas is recirculated to an intake system. The reflux passage 17 communicating with the intake pipe 8 opens on the upper throttle valve 13. The upper throttle valve 13 is provided with a fuel injection valve 27 whose injection amount is controlled by an electronic fuel injection controller 15. It mixes the exhaust gas in the fuel and introduces it into a combustion chamber 2. The lower throttle valve 13 has a surge tank 9 and another fuel injection valve 14.
