Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the exhaust gas cleaning effect of an exhaust gas cleaner using the reflux of an exhaust gas by stopping the control of an exhaust gas reflux rate and controlling air-fuel ratio in special operation regions with low and high load and further by performing the reverse control in any operation region other than the aforementioned regions.
CONSTITUTION: Signals from an intake negative pressure sensor 15, a water temperature sensor 16, a revolution sensor 17 and exhaust sensor 18 are input to a microcomputer 14. A fuel injection nozzle 5 is provided in the upstream of a throttle valve 4 of an intake passage 3. The intake passage and an exhaust passage 3, 6 are communicated with each other by means of an EGR passage 8 having an EGR valve 9 with which a negative passage 10 having a three way valve 12 is communicated. The nozzle 5 and the valve 12 are feed-back-controlled by the microcomputer 14. In special operations with low and high load, said feed-back-control is performed such that the nozzle 5 is actuated and the valve 12 is stopped, while in an operation other than the above special operations said control is done in the reverse way.
