Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent heating of empty heating chamber by supplying a medium of low boiling point stored in a tank to the heating apparatus responding to a signal from a detector of the stopping of a pump in a low boiling point Rankine cycle. CONSTITUTION:A low boiling point medium turbine plant comprises a heater 1, preheater 2, a turbine 16 and a condenser 18. When a pump 19 becomes inoperative, a detector 28 opens a closing valve 27 to flow freon fluid in the tank 21 to a preheater 2 and a heater 1. The detector 28 closes dumpers 12, 13 and opens a dumper 14. Heating of empty heating of the heating chamber is prevented because the freon liquid flows into the preheater 2 and the heating device of the heater when the pump is inoperative.
