Abstract
PURPOSE: To conserve energy as well as to regenerate the dehumidifying agent to a high degree by heating a gas used in regenerating the humidifying agent by a high temp. gas prior to dehumidification.
CONSTITUTION: The high temp. gas generated from a gas generating apparatus 1 is introduced into a heat exchanger 2 at first and, after cooled by carrying out the heat exhange between said gas and a gas used in regenerating a dehumidifying agent introduced into a cooler 3 to be further cooled to subject the moisture contained therein to dew condensation unit equilibrium is reached. After this treatment, the gas is introduced into either one of parallely installed dehumidifying towers 5A, 5B, for example, the tower 5B through a four-way valve 4 and, after contacted with the dehumidifying agent to be dehumidified, taken out from an exhaust port 11 through a four-way valve 6. On the other hand, the regenerating gas heated to a high temp. by the heat exhange with the high temp. gas in the heat exchanger 2 is sent to the dehumidifying tower 5A to carry out the regeneration of the dehumidifying agent therein and, after regeneration, returned to the heat exhanger 2 through a cooler 7, a drain separator 8, a blower 9 and a flow control valve 10.
