Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the title device by which moisture absorption of dielectrics, structural materials, etc. can be prevented by placing a moisture adsorbent to part of the space of a shell excepting the discharge section.
CONSTITUTION: Porous cylinders 16 each packed with drier 17 are placed to the inlet side and the outlet side of the discharge section of an ozonizer. When operation of the ozonizer is stopped, steam M refluxed from a treatment system using O3 and steam M escaped from the joints of the cooling water pipes of low voltage electrodes 3 flow like the dotted lines and they are adsorbed to drier 17. Accordingly, steam M is not adsorbed to dielectrics 2 or structural materials, preventing flash over and corrosion of the materials. A small amt. of moisture adsorbed to drier 17 is removed with dry raw gas druing operation. In case of a large amt. of moisture, simple work such as exchange of the drier or regeneration by heating is done
