Abstract

PURPOSE:To establish a miniaturization of the assembly and reduce a manufacturing cost by a method wherein a primary winding, a major winding and minor winding are wound around an identical core and the windings are arranged so that a center of the axial direction lengths does not coincide with another centers. CONSTITUTION:A primary winding 10, major winding 12 and minor winding 13 are wrapped around an idential core 14 and the windings 10, 12 and 13 are arranged so that a center of the axial direction length doesn't coinciee with another center of the other windings. The primary winding 10 is connected in parallel with a partial voltage capacitor, a protective relay which is operated when a fault causes in a power transmission system is connected to the termials u, v of the major winding 12 and further a voltage differential relay which is operated when a voltage difference over a predetermined value causes across the terminal voltage of the major winding 12 and minor winding 13 is connected to the line between the terminals a, b of the minor winding 13 and the terminal u, v of the major winding 12. According to such a constitution, one transformer has a function equivalent to that of two transformers. Therefore, a size of the equipment can be reduced and further a cost for the equipment also be lowered with the reduced material cost.
