Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the electric power consumption by equalizing the liquid pressure acting areas at the both sides of axial direction of a balance piston and connecting the input and output liquid chambers with an orifice. CONSTITUTION:An orifice is formed on a check valve 7 which constitutes the first valve mechanism, which connects an input liquid chamber 12 and an output liquid chamber 13. A valve body 6 which constitutes the second valve mechanism opens and closes the connection between the output liquid chamber 13 and a pressure reducing chamber 26. When a movable iron core 8 moves downward by energizing of a solenoid 4 a balance piston 5 also moves downward to close the check valve 7 and open the valve body 6 thereby reducing the output liquid pressure. When the solenoid is de-energized the movable iron core lifts to close the valve body 6, but the check valve 7 stays closed due to low output liquid pressure. When the output liquid pressure rises by the orifice the check valve opens as it is pressed by the balance piston.
