Abstract
PURPOSE: To freely determine braking characteristics for no load and loaded conditions in such a way that the impetuses of the valve are changed by applying liquid pressure in response to loading condition on the pressured face of a proportion valve energized in one direction.
CONSTITUTION: In no load condition, the prescribed deceleration is generated under low braking liquid pressure, and a valve 21 opens. Pressurized liquid opens a valve 22 to make its way to flow into a chamber 26, further a plunger 6 moves to the right by the difference between pressured areas caused from a liquid pressure rise, a valve 12 closes, liquid pressure rise in the brake is stopped, and close the plunger 6 reciprocates to open a valve 22, as the liquid pressure rises successirely further so that the liquid pressure in the brake can rise at a low rate. Since deceleration is small in a loaded condition, and even if the valve 22 is open, the valve 21 is closed, liquid pressure in chamber 20 presses the valve 21 further to a valve seat 24. Because the liquid pressure does not flow into the chamber 26, a plunger 26 does not move to the right. If the pressured face of the chamber 16 in the plunger 26 is made larger than that at the left end, the plunger does not move, and if it is reversed, a proportion valve 1 is moved with higher liquid pressure than that in no load condition.
