Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the early wear of a front wheel brake, by forming a hydraulic pressure control valve so that a valve passage is closed by a rod supported on a driving piston as the piston moves and that the valve passage is opened when the pressure of a first liquid chamber has exceeded a prescribed level.
CONSTITUTION: When the brake is applied, the driving piston 1 and a floating piston 2 are moved leftward. When an inlet passage 12 is shut off by a seal 24 and another inlet passage 6 is shut off by another seal 29, a liquid in a liquid chamber 21 is pressure-conducted to an outlet port 26 through cylindrical parts 22, 25 and an annular grove 11 and a liquid in another liquid chamber 32 is pressure-conducted to another outlet port 31. Since a rod 3 is moved leftward together with the driving piston 1 and closes a passage 10, the transfer of the liquid to the outlet port 26 is stopped. When a force applied to the cylindrical part 22 has become equal to that of a spring 40, the liquid is presure-conducted to the outlet port 26 again . When the liquid pressure of the chamber 21 has risen, another piston 4 is retacted from the cylindrical ports 22, 25. As a result, the liquid pressure of the rear wheel brake becomes equal to that of the chamber 21.
