Abstract
PURPOSE: To make a fluid pressure controlling parts unnecessary, by providing a differential pressure valve opening above the predetermined pressure in a supply chamber and a check valve to prevent the fluid from flowing from a supply chamber to a reservoir, between the supply chamber locatd in the middle of a small diameter part and the large diameter part of a step piston and the reservoir.
CONSTITUTION: A primary piston 3 and a secondary piston 4 are moved by operation of a brake. The capacity of a supply chamber 16 decreases as the secondary piston 4 is pushed to the left side, a part of actuating fluid in the supply chamber 16 pushed by the piston 4 is fed into a pressure chamber 20 through the ports 24 and 25 under the differential pressure valve closing, and the fluid is supplied with the front wheel brake circuit together with the fluid in the chamber 20, bringing the brake into action. When the pressure in the pressure chamber 20 rises, the fluid in the chamber 16 does not flow into it any more, therefore, the pressure in the supply chamber 16 rises. When the pressure in the supply chamber 16 reaches above the predetermined value, the differential pressure valve 37 opens to relieve a part of the fluid to the reservoir 2, so that the inside pressure of the chamber 16 is maintained in the range of the predetermined pressure. As the result, the rise of the fluid pressure for the rear wheel brake is kept low as compared with the rise of that for the front wheel brake in relation to the areas of the cross sections A1 and A2 of the ports 1a and 1b of the large and small diameters.
