Abstract

Tappet consisting of a hollow body 8 housing, in sliding manner, a piston element 9, in such a manner as to define a pressure chamber 10, access to the latter being controlled by a ball valve 12 located on a duct supplying fluid under pressure; the main characteristic of the said tappet being that the said hollow body 8 is composed of two elements 20,21 of which one 21 is extruded, cup- shaped and fitted and welded at 22 on to the other 20, which is goblet- shaped and houses the said piston element 9. <IMAGE>
