Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the responsiveness of a check valve by providing a magnetically urging means for urging a valve element movably disposed in a valve chamber and made of magnetic materials in a direction in which it closes a through-hole in a valve seat. CONSTITUTION:A valve seat 7 formed therein with a through-hole 16 is provided in a large diameter section 15 on the upstream side of the latter, and a valve element 22 made of magnetic materials is disposed in a valve chamber 21 between a partition wall and the valve element 17. A magnetic coil 23 as a magnetically urging means is wound on the outer peripheral surface of the large diameter section 15 of the valve body 11. When a differential pressure larger than a magnetic force by which the coil 23 attracts the valve element 22 is effected between the upstream and downstream sides of the valve seat 17 in a valve closing condition, the valve element 22 is lifted from the valve seat 17. Accordingly, even though the differential pressure does not vary greatly, the valve element 22 can fully open the through-hole 16, thereby it is possible to enhance the responsiveness of the check valve for the differential pressure.
