Abstract
PURPOSE:To efficiently from a closed magnetic path by compression molding an entire hollow coil with soft magnetic powder such as carbonyl or the like and compression molding the entire coil or an open magnetic path part wound on an open magnetic path type soft magnetic iron core. CONSTITUTION:A bobbinless coil 1 having a hollow part is first manufactured. Then, compression molding middle and lower dies 3, 4 are associated to form a recess, the coil 1 is contained in the recess, and suitable amount of soft magnetic material powder 2 such as carbonyl or the like is simultaneously contained in the recess. Subsequently, an upper die 5 is inserted into the recess, and the mold is compression molded with an adequate pressure. A coil is wound on a part of the core having an open magnetic path, the open magnetic part is molded with the dies in the same manner as above to form a closed magnetic path circuit. In this manner, it is not necessary to inefficiently wind manually the coil in case of forming the closed magnetic path magnetic core, but it can suppress the irregularity of the performance in such a case of winding the split magnetic cores and then joining the cores, thereby obtaining a coil formed efficiently with the closed magnetic path.
