Abstract

Furthermore, an SiO2 protective film of about 1,000Angstrom is formed on the film 3. With formation of the vapor-deposited film 2, the Kerr rotational angle is increased to 0.5 deg. from 0.15 deg.. In such way, the SN can be increased with a simple constitution.
